Antioxidant JADEWIN 12 – Low Volatility High-Efficiency Antioxidant for High-Temperature Lubricants

JADEWIN 12, a high-efficiency alkylated diphenylamine antioxidant, is newly launched for lubricant formulations. It is designed to resist oxidation of mineral and synthetic base lubricants under high-temperature conditions, featuring ultra-low volatility and outstanding sludge inhibition with low discoloration tendency. It delivers reliable long-term antioxidant protection for aviation engine oils, high-temperature greases and a wide range of industrial lubricants.

Lubricating oils are prone to oxidative degradation at high temperatures, forming sludge and gums that block oil circuits, cause carbon deposits and shorten service life. JADEWIN 12 effectively suppresses thermal oxidation of mineral oil and synthetic oil lubricants, controls sludge formation at extreme temperatures and keeps equipment clean. Thanks to high purity, it discolors much slower than many other diphenylamine derivatives.

Its standout advantage is ultra-low volatility with almost no evaporative loss during service. It outperforms many alkylated diphenylamine alternatives in high-temperature grease applications, making it a preferred choice for aviation engine oil. It shows excellent synergistic performance: combined with phenolic antioxidants and copper deactivators, its antioxidant effect can be further enhanced. When blended with phenyl-alpha-naphthylamine, it achieves optimal sludge control.

Typical applications include mineral & synthetic lubricants, aviation engine oils, power transmission fluids, turbine oils, compressor oils, industrial and automotive gear oils. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.1% to 2% based on oil type and working conditions.

This is a natural consequence of its antioxidant activity and does not impair functional performance. Pilot formulation tests are recommended before mass blending.
